Bridlington is situated on the East Riding of Yorkshire coast, about 40 minutes drive

north of Kingston-upon-Hull, and about 50 minutes

east of York. It is at the northerly end of the most beautiful bay on the east coast, which has become known as Bridlington Bay. The Flamborough headland marks the end of the bay, its cliffs and lighthouse being clearly visible from the town.
